Weather stations
Increasingly, regulatory authorities are calling for weather station data to collected so that the impact of emissions may be assessed especially when upset conditions occur. Almost uniquely, CEMSuite Plus and CEMSuite can capture a range of meteorological measurements from a Davis Vantage Pro Weather station, display it and store it.
The Davis weather station may be connected to the system to provide meteorological measurements, as it has an RS232 connection, it may be connected directly to the computer. This avoids the need for extra analogue inputs on to the CEMSuite system, and the need for analogue outputs from the weather station.
A wind rose may be displayed on the screen giving wind direction and speed;other measurements are shown in tabular form.

Many operators wish to monitor weather conditions and log them continuously alongside emission data. Using our CEMSuite Plus or CEMSuite Systems combined with a Davis Vantage Pro weather station, we can log weather and ambient data and display and trend it seamlessly with emissions data.
We have used Davis weather stations for some years now, and while they may not be the most expensive on the market,have found them to be reliable and well priced.
